After a trip to Proserpine Lake the third day, we landed at Townsville Sun City Harley Davidson on the fourth day for an excellent camping on their land with access to great facilities for 2 nights, . (>>more pics) Ray's (HOG) escort around town for restaurant and coffee.
Next day we took a a trip to Magnetic Island and did 34 k on the Island. (>>more pics)
On the final leg we checked in at Cannon Park Motel for a great 4 night stay and took our own tour around the Table lands (Gillies Hwy and Kennedy Hwy, a visit to the big crocodile park, then Capten Cook Hwy up to Mossman and we dropped in on Port Douglas on the way back.. (>>more pics)
At the Rally there were stall holders, Gymkhana and (must View) piglet races, evening meals and entertainment. (>> Click here)
There were Stunt Rider display by Matt, the guy that did the stunts in Mission Impossible.(>> more here) ..
There were Bike-Games and the last day we went on the Thunder run back up to Port Douglas with over 1000 Harleys (Ann left the Triumph this time).. (>> more here) ..

We stayed at Townsville Sun City on the way Back and the second night at a historic Carmela Pub hotel.
On the last leg home, we dropped in to Rockhampton Harley and admired a whole new refurbished store (new sice our last visit).. (>> more here)
The trip totalled 4700 kilometers, not a drop of rain, just a routine license and RBT check in Gin Gin and no fines.
It was a great 12 days with about 8 days on the road,
